Perform various drafting assignments working with AutoCAD version 2002 and above, and Raster Design 3, Land Development Civil/Survey applications. Create and maintain Substation/System Protection (relaying) and Transmission Line project drawings, Substation Switching one-lines, Entergy System Maps in accordance to Transmission drafting and Document Management standards. Responsible for maintaining drawing database utilizing the AutoManager Meridian Document Management toolkit. Assignments will include working with plotters and B/W & color scanners. This will require lifting paper rolls weighing 35lbs. Provide a high level of customer service to the entire Transmission business organization.
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma, Drafting experience working with computer and Board. Eight years experience or 2 year technical degree and/or Associates degree or certification in Computer Aided Drafting with 6 years relative working experience. Ability to multitask in a fast pace environment. Self starter, effective team member, possesses a good attitude and excellent communication skills. Has a willingness to learn attitude while interfacing with engineers of different disciplines. Tenacious approach to satisfying customers. Take responsibility for actions, displays pride in personal and team performances.

The ability to read and understand blue prints and engineering sketches. Proficient AutoCAD skills while applying basic drafting techniques and concepts. Experience working with Substation, System Protection (Wiring) and Transmission line (Plan&Profile) design concepts including Civil/Survey. This will include drafting Mechanical, Structural, Electrical and Civil drawing types. General knowledge of Windows XP environment and Microsoft toolkit software using Word, Access, Excel.
