Senior Designer

Purpose: Position Summary: Perform multiple design tasks of a complex nature. From concept to final design; complete design layouts of major assemblies, subassemblies and complex detail drawings, as well as participate in engineering design reviews. In addition to design skills the proper candidate may organize, and complete estimates, schedules and direct the technical work of lower level Designers and Drafters to meet established project schedules and objectives. The candidate must be able to exercises considerable amounts of judgment and initiative in resolving problems, and be able to present recommendations.

Minimum Education:

AA/AS in related field of discipline or equivalent

Minimum Experience:

8+ Years applicable experience. Design/Drafting Technician or Engineering degree, 4 years? design related activities, and superior math skills required. A minimum of 4 years experience utilizing Pro Engineer CAD system with at least 2 years of Wildfire 2.0 experience.

Desired Skill Set:

-Experience in Pro/Piping
-Experience in Pro/Diagram
-Experience in Fluid Handling Systems for base and acid chemistries
-Experience in System Integration and Packaging
-Experience in Plastics Fabrication (materials and methods)
-Understanding of Didactics and P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams)
-Semiconductor Industry experience including S2 and S3 Safety compliance standards
-French as a second language (not mandatory)
