Senior Design Engineers

An international manufacturer of mobile off-road equipment is seeking specialized engineers for their new Developmental Division. This group will be responsible for joint development of compact utility equipment.

VEHICLE ENGINEER
Will be involved in the entire vehicle design including:
Structures
Engines and power trains
Cooling systems
Hydraulic and electrical systems
Cabs and ROPS.

HYDRAULICS ENGINEER
System design
Develops system schematic
Selects components
Reservoir design and filter selection
Plumbing and plumbing layout

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM ENGINEER
12V/24V systems
Battery sizing and selecting
Alternator and Charging circuit
Cranking motor selection
Wire harness design
Wire harness routing and layout (preferably with Pro-E)

POWER TRAIN ENGINEER
Engine applications
Cooling system
Component selection (gear reduction, drive shafts, brakes)
Knowledge of gears, bearings, etc. and life calculations for these parts.

ENGINE APPLICATION ENGINEER
Radiator and plumbing
Charge air coolers
Emission requirements
Sound abatement
General engine sizing, specifications, etc.

COMPARTMENT ENGINEER
ROPS
Ergonomics
Seating
Control placement and effort
Sound level abatement
Heater and Air Conditioner
Safety issues (Operator restraint systems, interlocks, visibility, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in compact construction equipment required.
Knowledge of regulations which pertain to this class of equipment.
Must have BSME/BSEE degree or Bachelor's degree in related field.
Knowledge of PTC Pro-E 3-D CAD required. Other 3-D CAD system experience is acceptable.
