Senior Cost Engineer

Purpose: The Client: Aerotek Energy Services client is a publicly traded diversified energy company with annual revenues of approximately $11 billion. The Job:
The Cost Engineer is responsible for preparing estimates, the schedule and reports for all power plant projects. During project review meetings the candidate for this position would be responsible for preparing the minutes and organizing for presentation. Additionally, this position would have the ideal candidate accumulating cost and schedule information from team members and providing feedback. This position would also be responsible for analyzing cost and schedule variances from the plan and recommending corrective actions to include revising schedule and cash flow projections. This would all be in order to coordinate and assemble the complete project estimate package.

The Qualifications:
We prefer this person to have a degree in engineering or related field. However we are willing to see candidates with extensive power generation project experience. The necessary skills desired do include knowledge of project time, cost management and tracking, SAP, MS Project, MS Office and/or Primavera P3. This person must be knowledgeable with power plant operations. This person must have excellent communication skills as they will interface with a number of managers on a daily basis.
