Senior Automated Hardware Engineer

L-3 Communication Titan Group has an opening for a Sr. Automated Hardware Engineer to support the Intelligence Systems Department in Linthicum, MD.

This position provides Information and Instructional Technology support in a dynamic, foreign language training environment, providing a wide range of support. Bring critical technical issues to the attention of appropriate management, act as point of entry for IT requirements; assist in the definition, documentation and prioritization of IT requirements; prepare and/or interpret technical requirements; promote interoperability and consolidation of IT assets; work with customers to ensure that IT system support is meeting IT requirements; provide information to customers about IT enhancement initiatives and new technologies; manage and implement mechanisms to provide up-to-the-minute information regarding any scheduled IT installations/deployments that may have a negative affect on customer operations. Support for all classroom audio/visual equipment (Smartboards, VCR/DVD players, projectors etc).
REQUIREMENTS
Experience: Ten years combined experience in developing system specifications, evaluating government or contractor hardware or system proposals, installing, configuring, integrating, testing hardware or automated systems and evaluating hardware alternatives. A minimum of two of these years involving experience with government automated systems and hardware (including Windows and Unix based platforms).

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Operations Research.
