Must have strong mathematical skills and knowledge of numerical analysis using various software packages such as MATLAB, understanding of statistics very helpful. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.Description of duties & responsibilities: Duties: Support senior scientist and senior engineering staff with geotechnical research in earthquake science and engineering. Operational activities also include earthquake-modeling development of stochastic data sets for the Monte Carlo simulation.
