Security Engineers

Fortune 100 company in Chicago’s Loop is looking for a firewall security engineer with an enterprise security background who can implement new technology and systems into the security infrastructure. The candidate will focus on firewall and VPN architecture, design, implementation and 3rd level support and be able to handle an environment with 100+ firewalls. Experience with implementation of technology and systems, IDS hardware and software, load balancers, and penetration testing is needed.

The qualified candidate will have 4+ years of experience with design, implementation and support of internet/intranet firewall web infrastructures, VPN extranets and IDS HIDS/NIDS in data communications or security fields. A strong knowledge of firewall and IDS technologies is required. The qualified candidate must be have a strong working knowledge and 4+ years experience with Cisco Pix and Checkpoint as well as F5 Big IP and other load balancers.
