Satellite Systems Engineer

DESCRIPTION: Satellite Systems Engineer. This Long Island, New York international leader in satellite, wireless communication systems is in need of an experienced Satellite Systems Engineer. Candidate will manage projects related to portable and flyaway satellite communication earth terminals and networks, including design, evaluation, development, fabrication and testing. Candidate will perform original analysis, and design through completion, of SATCOM earth terminals and related hardware, components and parts in accordance with specifications covering C, X, Ku, Ka frequency bands. Will evaluate and debug SATCOM earth terminals and related hardware and components and develop test programs for product evaluation and participate in conducting tests. Will also produce documentation for new products and check the accuracy of technical documentation. Company offers an excellent benefits package, as well as, relocation assistance. REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE: Experience with SATCOM earth terminal and related network, hardware and component design and development. Must have experience with RF measurements to KU band and associated test equipment. Perform original analysis, and design through completion, of SATCOM earth terminals and related hardware Must be able to review, evaluate and produce verbal and written responses to customer requirements, documents, and requests for proposals.
