Sales Support Specialist

The Sales Support Specialist will work in a support role across the Sales Team, reporting directly to the VP Technical Sales.


ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with Sales Team to assist in the sales of Nielsen BuzzMetrics solutions. Handle creation of proposals based on Client needs. Handle creation of responses to RFPs from Clients / Prospects. Provide Demos of our solutions to Clients / Prospects. Manage information related to Sales Leads, Contacts, Opportunities and Contracts on SalesForce.com. Generate relevant weekly and monthly reports from SalesForce.com. Provide support to help expedite Contract closing. Work with Sales Team to create and execute lead generation programs. Develop and maintain sales support tools.
REQUIREMENTS


EXPERIENCE
Bachelor degree in Business / Engineering or Equivalent sales support experience. Minimum of two years of experience supporting a sales team. Computer savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook). Experience with SalesForce.com is a bonus. Excellent verbal and written skills. Ability to travel periodically (10%) to attend trade shows, conferences and other business related events. Intellectual curiosity and with a thirst for knowledge. Willing to learn without significant formal training and take on new challenges and responsibilities. Ability to work independently, multi-task, manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to deliver quality work product on time and with accuracy. Experience in or exposure to market research or business information industries is a bonus. Technical understanding of Software solutions is a bonus.
