Sales Manager Responsibilities:
Ensure proper staffing by proactively recruiting and retaining qualified design consultants.
Establish performance goals for all design consultants, monitor performance, and hold staff accountable for achievement.
Motivate, coach and develop design consultants.
Coordinate and conduct training for all employees.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
Build effective marketing and merchandising strategies to achieve sales and profit objectives.
Ensure superior customer service standards are in place and followed, and assist to resolve customer problems that arise.
REQUIREMENTS

Interior Design/Retail/Home Furnishings
Requirements for the Sales Manager position:
Minimum of five years supervisory experience in retail environment. Home furnishings, furniture industry or design experience a plus.
Demonstrated history of building successful sales teams.
Professional verbal, written, presentation and computer skills.
Ability to work some evenings and weekend days.Benefits:
