Sales Engineer - Telecommunications

McHire Ltd. is a national recruitment firm conducting a search for a premiere client for a Sales Engineer position in the telecommunications industry. The company is a stable leader in its industry and offers a high quality product line. The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing all the necessary pre-sale support to the direct sales organization in an effort to maintain existing revenues as well as to pull high margin custom applications through all the sales channels. In addition this role serves as a gateway for market intelligence on changing customer needs in the marketplace, as well solutions using current, new and emerging technology to accommodate those needs.





RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø Provide pre-sale engineering support to the sales team for complex, technical and integrated solutions.

Ø Work closely with the customer, vendor, operations, construction and engineering departments on designing, crafting and delivering the best possible solutions.

Ø Assist in training initiatives on existing, new and emerging technologies.

Ø Communicate market trends, new customer requirements and new technologies to product development and network engineering groups for development of new products and technologies to meet customer needs.

Ø Provide all ongoing post - sale support for continued business activity.

Ø Provide all the Pricing Components that make up the Solution.
REQUIREMENTS
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
4 year college degree in Business required.

5+ years experience in voice/data/video communications services and 8+ years of engineering and technical account management experience.
An understanding of LAN/WAN Technologies and knowledge of IP Based Networks and Router technologies.
