Sales EngineerWintek currently has an entry level career opportunity in our NJ office for a highly motivated inside sales/applications engineer with future outside sales possible. Customer/vendor contact would be limited initially, but grow as incumbent gains technical and commercial experience. Under supervision of the President, the successful candidate will progressively be given broader responsibilities which will include;Application EngineeringInterfacing directly with customers for clarificationsPrepare Preliminary P&IDs, PFDsSystem costing, size and select all equipment, vendor RFQ’s, etcPreparation of technical quotations and proposalsProject coordination from conception to completionOrder processing and follow-upPreparation of technical manualsEquipment start-up assistance at customers site when requiredDrawing review and comment updatesMarket AnalysisCustomer follow-upSystem trouble-shooting

Requirements: 4 year engineering degree (ME or ChE), but will accept associates degree with experience.Strong oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skills, ability to multitaskStrong interpersonal skillsStrong customer service orientationStrong competence in basic thermodynamics, fluid dynamicsMust be detailed orientedStrong computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Acrobat; familiar with Autocad, SolidWorks, Mathcad, Visio a plus
