LaGarde is currently seeking an E-Commerce Sales Application Engineer. Founded in 1996, LaGarde is an e-business software and service products provider to small and medium sized businesses worldwide. The ideal candidate for this position will have a successful track record of gathering requirements quickly and efficiently and developing solutions to ecommerce challenges. The motivated candidate will assist the sales staff to understand the customer’s ecommerce requirements and determine the appropriate technical solution. Experience with e-commerce systems is a plus. The preferred candidate will have several years experience assisting the technical sale of software to small/mid-market clients. In addition, the candidate must exhibit superior verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to extract information relevant to the technology challenges, explain and demonstrate solutions and field a variety of questions

REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS

• 6+ years experience in technology field, including one or more of: requirements gathering, technical analysis and design, development, sales support.

• Knowledge and experience in the internet software application space. E-Commerce experience is a plus. Accounting and/or POS systems experience is also considered a plus.

• Ability to present E-Commerce Solutions via telephone, Internet, trade shows, and on-site visits.

• 2+ years of experience in pre-sales application engineering of software to small/mid-market clients preferred

• Ability to work well supporting a highly motivated sales team, managing priorities of multiple accounts and multiple sales reps.

• Self-motivated with proven ability to assist sales in exceeding sales objectives.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
