SW Test Engineer/Functional/ Lead

Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: Information TechnologyResponsibilities: This position is available in either or Boston, MA or Burlington, VT locations.Business Solutions Development is seeking a self-motivated Quality Assurance Test Engineer for the Enterprise Wide Scheduling Team (EWS). The Team is responsible for EWS, Chart Tracking, Encounter Form Generator and Enterprise Index. You will be committed to understanding our customer's business needs and requirements. You will be required to work collaboratively with the EWS team to ensure best practices business solutions for our customers. You will be responsible for a very aggressive timeframe, as well as adhering to a high standard of quality. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: defining test objectives, create test plans, write test cases, execute complex functional, application, regression and performance tests. Perform QA reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements. Assist product developers and technical staff with automated testing. Help determine what needs to be tested based on the changes made by programmers during a test cycle.~HJ~
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Qualifications/Requirements:
Four or more years experience working in software development, quality assurance, support, or installation.
Two or more years experience in either software quality assurance/testing or two or more years expereince working with the IDX software product, Flowcast.
Excellent communication skills, excellent analytical skills, ability to focus on detail. Must be a team player with strong organizational, writing, and presentation skills.This job can be located in either our Boston, MA or Burlington, VT office. Experience in the Healthcare Industry.
Understand highly structured testing processes and procedures, understanding of industry standard test methodologies such as white box, regression and acceptance testing.
Experience in Product Validation, Verification and Software Design. Experience with Appointment Scheduling.
