STSS RTSE (Real-Time System Emulator) Lead (250)

Highly motivated Systems Engineer wanted to lead the RTSE (Real-Time System Emulator) risk reduction activities on the STSS Blocks 06 and 08. Manage a diverse team performing system level hardware/software integration and development of requisite “glue” software/hardware solutions. Develop and execute a series of System Integration Risk reduction tests and analyze the data resulting from testing. Coordinate with other program IPTs to perform these tests. Manage the RTSE facility including computer hardware and software maintenance agreements, inventories, etc. and its cost and schedule.
The successful candidate will have strong communication skills with a background in operation and analysis of ONIR sensor systems and in Missile Defense. Experience in large system simulation and software development including real-time operating systems is a plus. Working knowledge of C, C++ and UNIX is required. MS EE, ME, AE, Physics or Math and 10-12 years experience. This position is open to Grade 12/13, though final determination of grade is based upon experience level. Current DoD Secret clearance is required.
