Kelly FedSecure seeks leader for a team of designers and engineers, under the direction of the project manager, using engineering principles and software tools.

*** Hanover MD - Contract to Hire - TOP SECRET Clearance ****Work with requirements and concept development, execution of trade studies, structural engineering calculations, detailed design oversight, and production oversight of underwater equipment and vehicles. Responsibilities include developing and executing emonstration/test plans, procedures, reports, and verification of requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills are important. Ability to interface with customer, technical authority and certification authorities, ABS, and other engineering/ technical disciplines such as systems engineers, naval architects, electrical engineers, designers, drafters, fabrication shop personnel, and hardware vendors are important. Ability to perform structural calculations and dynamic analyses is required.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field. Sr. level position, 5 years or more of experience. Computer skills using Microsoft Office suites. Technical writing skills required. Proficiency using SolidWorks software a plus. Familiarity with analysis and modeling software (Cosmos-M, ANSYS, MathCad, LabWorks, etc.)desired.
Other Pre-requisites: Candidate needs to perform in an ISO-9000 rated company in a rapidly changing and demanding atmosphere.U.S. Citizenship and current DOD security clearance.
