SR UTILITY ENGINEER
In this role you will plan, analyze and coordinate the activities of utilities equipment and maintenance personnel to assure economical, efficient, clean, continuous utilization of plant utilities to meet short and long-range business needs. These utilities will include steam, DI and distilled water, OFCA and the electrical distribution systems.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage 7-day plant utility operations to assure coordinated, planned, efficient operations
Develop, implement and manage a utility plan to ensure an adequate supply of power, compressed air, process water, steam and HVAC
Direct the sanitization of the process water distribution system to provide microbial free process water
Provide technical expertise on utility operations
Provide liaison with project groups to assure continuity of current plant systems
Develop plant utility budgets and controls their costs on a continuous basis
Assist in the achievement of energy conservation, water savings, etc. objectives
Work closely with Quality to assure the required quality of compressed air, steam, process water and HVAC
Develop utility operator training programs
Provide the technical expertise and continuity of thought to effectively analyze inefficient machine/equipment operation and affect a cost effective remedy
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this position, you must possess:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
At least 5 years experience in utilities engineering or maintenance
