As a SQL Server DBA you will be responsible for:

* Applying your work experience with SQL databases towards ensuring the reliability and availability of our production database system
* Overseeing the SQL Server complete, differential, and transaction log backups to verify that the backup and monitoring capabilities within the database system are functioning on a day-to-day basis
* Using your experience with implementation, configuration, upgrade and administration of SQL Server 2000 on Windows 2000/2003 platforms to participate in new development and support enhancements and migration of existing databases as necessary
* Enhancing your current skills with Transact-SQL and optimum data loading techniques by continuing to work on database design, optimization, troubleshooting and tuning in a development/production environment
* Demonstrating hands-on experience with DBCC, DTS imports/exports, SQL Profiler, and SQL Server Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer to allow for smooth and efficient production operations
