SQL Database Administrator

Administrator at its Clarksville, TN, facility.

SQL Database Administrator: This position is for a mid-to-senior

level SQL DBA with a creative, "can-do" attitude. Ability to work

with a team of developers, engineers and customers. Must be a

customer-centric individual with proven technical skills and excellent

communication abilities. Must also be proficient in Microsoft Office,

have the ability to manage time effectively, and have excellent problemsolving skills.



Successful candidates must have extensive practical experience working

with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 running on Windows 2000 and/or

Windows 2003. Must have in-depth knowledge of database design,

tuning and optimization, problem determination, troubleshooting,

and resolution. Individual should be able to provide day-to-day SQL

database administration and support which includes, but is not limited

to, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and problem solving to

support the availability and maintenance of all databases. Consult with

internal and external customers to envision, define, and design database

solutions based on existing or proposed SQL standards.
