SOFTWARE ENGINEERS

Location: Richmond, VA

Reports to: Software Engineering Manager

Description: Design, develop, evaluate, and document software and overall software system architecture.
Create and review software-related documentation, including design and user documentation.
Participate in software design and software design reviews
Generate reports and briefs as necessary to document work

Education: BS or higher in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalency

Requirements: 0-7 years of solid experience with object oriented (OO) design and development preferably with C++/C+ for Microsoft Windows platforms.
Experience with Microsoft Visual C++/C+ and VisualStudio.NET.
Experience with the design/development of low and high level hardware interfaces is a plus
Experience with design/development of WEB Enabled Applications is a plus.
Strong math skills are preferred
Solid verbal and written communications skills are a must
Experience with software process improvement is a plus
