SMS Deployment Engineer

Purpose: Our client, a leading financial institution, is proactively seeking a SMS deployment engineer.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the orderly movement of software from development through user acceptance testing into production. Responsible for application packaging in the NT environment to enhance the integrity of the software promotion process.

Perform all Application Deployment tasks using the SMS 2003 infrastructure. Deploy Core and LOB products out to designated users following SMS corporate deployment standards. Create SMS collections, individual and bundle packages, product associations and provide confirmation of product delivery. Monitor and validate package replication process across the SMS infrastructure. Understand how to diagnose,
and correct, SMS package, collection and advertisement problems issues.
