SMI Information Management Infrastructure Engineer

Key Role: Design, develop, and recommend integrated identity management, key management, and enterprise management solutions to ensure proprietary data and systems are protected. Provide technical engineering services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions and interface with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs. Perform research and analysis as part of developing trade studies among a variety of candidate technologies and solutions for a given client problem space. Develop a detailed understanding of relevant SMI areas, including identity management, key management, and enterprise management, and technologies, including guards and firewalls, IDS, and VPNs, and how to apply them to develop architectures to meet client solutions.



Job Requirements













Basic Qualifications:


-5+ years of experience with information assurance


-TS/SCI clearance





Additional Qualifications:


-9+ years of experience with IA


-4+ years of experience with key management may substituted for a technical degree


-2 years of experience with key management


-BA or BS degree in Engineering, CS, IT, or a related field preferred; MA or MS degree a plus


-CISSP or a related Certification preferred


-Experience with developing documents, including a security policy, CONOPS, CDD, MNS, Key Management Plan, and Key Management Architecture


-Knowledge of key management standards and protocols


-Knowledge of DoD IA directives and instructions


-Knowledge of Type 1 cryptography and key management


-Ability to work in a diverse environment with multiple related tasks


-Possession of excellent technical writing skills
