SM-3 Technical Representative

Provide technical and management coordination /liaison between Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS), Tucson, STANDARD Missile TECHREP/Tucson, and APL in support of the SM-3 System Development and Demonstration Program and Future Technology Risk Reduction efforts. Duties: Develop and maintain awareness and knowledge of the scope, content, and status of APL?s tasks relating to SM-3 and associated technology development efforts in support of PD452, SM TECHREP and RMS. Attend SM-3 APL team meetings, program reviews, in-process reviews, and critical program events at APL or at the customer site. Develop and maintain awareness and knowledge of the development issues at RMS that require APL support or assessment. Develop and maintain awareness and knowledge of APL expertise, capabilities and personnel to apply to these identified issues as appropriate. Attend development IPT and team meetings, design reviews, and staff meetings and identify opportunities and needs for APL support or analysis and offer to liaise with the APL SM-3 Project Manager and Chief Engineer to provide required support. Maintain regular contact with the APL SM-3 Program Manager and Chief Engineer: provide weekly written reports of activities and special reports as needed to reflect ongoing efforts of special interest. Keep the SM TECHREP, RMS SM-3 Project Manager and Chief Engineer informed on the status of APL efforts and critical issues. Provide Project Management support to the APL SM-3 Project Manager. Provide critical technical support directly to the SM TECHREP office and serve as the tasking liaison between the APL SM3 Project Manager and SM-3 TECHREP. Provide critical technical support to the RMS SM-6 team and serve as the liaison to the APL SM-3 Project Manager and Chief Engineer.
REQUIREMENTS
Required: BS in Engineering, Physics, or equivalent. Demonstrated success and experience . Detailed knowledge of SM3 and predecessor programs, as well as the organization mission, role and responsibilities and operations of PD452, SM TECHREP, and RMS Tucson.
