Hitachi America, Ltd, one of the world’s most progressive high technology companies, is expanding operations in Charlotte, NC to be home to the Hitachi Air Technology Group.SENIOR PRODUCT SPECIALISTProduct Management and Channel Marketing Responsibilities!Play an integral role in our product management and channel marketing efforts. Provide and manage product, market development, price management, promotion, intelligence, and sales assistance inclusive of training for Hitachi distributors. Successful candidate will be first point of contact for marketing support and strategy to distributors/OEM/strategic accounts. Individual will research/provide input and liaise with Japan development group for NA market. Additionally, you will the lead sales forecast management process, and participate in trade shows and expositions.To qualify, you must have a B.S. in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering, supported by 5+ years experience selling compressed air systems. Superior knowledge and familiarity of the NA compressed air market, strong customer focus, and excellent oral/written communication skills are essential. PC proficiency, along with self motivation, high initiative, and ability to work independently will be expected. Ability to travel up to 30% domestically, and take at least one trip to Japan per year also required.We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
