SENIOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

HiRel Systems, a leader in magnetic manufacturing for military, medical and avionics applications, is currently seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer for its manufacturing facility in Marshall, MN.

As our Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

*Defining and implementing processes for manufacturing (including but not limited to routings, standard work, manufacturing documentation)

*Implementing and maintaining process controls

*Identifying, implementing and defining the need for manufacturing tooling and equipment

*Plant and line layout

*Monitoring and improving efficiencies

*Addressing quality issues

*Identifying and applying corrective actions

*Assisting with the implementation of lean manufacturing principles.

You will work directly with the production operators, supervisors, design engineers and management.
REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidate will possess:

*A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and/or 5+ years related experience in electrical engineering.

*Design engineering experience preferred.

*Experience in transformer manufacturing a plus.

*Strong working knowledge of electrical and mechanical principals required; excellent mathematical and problem solving abilities; strong oral, written and interpersonal skills essential.

*Computer skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
