SENIOR ENGINEER

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Requires a minimum of 5 years of related mechanical design experience.
Designs and develops flow measurement instrumentation, pressurized flow sensors and fittings, mechanical packaging of electronics and housings, in accordance with product safety and agency certification requirements. Conducts and designs experimental tests, and analyzes test data to evaluate instrument performance results. Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates mechanical parts, and components. Evaluates material properties and manufacturing processes used in production. Provides product technical support to resolve manufacturing and customer related product performance or product application issues. Reviews supplier capabilities and alternatives in support of product design and development.Interested candidates should have a strong Mechanical CAD design background including geometric tolerancing of parts and assemblies. Knowledge of flow principles, mechanical design of pressure containing flow sensors and mechanical stress analysis is desirable. Finite Element Analysis experience would be a plus for this challenging opportunity.
