SAP Programmer/Analyst
The SAP Program is a rapidly expanding system foundation broadly supporting global operations for Finance, Treasury, Purchasing, Tax, Human Resources, Materials Management, Distribution, International Commercial Operations and Order Management. In this role, you will participate as a team member working to facilitate development requirements definition and design for Hospira’s SAP environment. You will work with functional user and end users to define requirements, convert them into functional specifications, assess them against architecture standards, development standards and determine the required SAP design. You will also design, implement and support complex ABAP development objects. Successful candidates must also be willing and able to support post-production maintenance functions.
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this position, you must possess:

A minimum of 3+ years technical experience broadly in the following areas:
SAP ABAP - Hands-on experience with Data Dictionary, ABAP workbench, Dialog programming, Report programming, Workflow programming, ABAP Objects, BDC, BAPI, ALE, IDOC, ICM, BSP and performance tuning
Good working knowledge and problem solving skills related to one or more functional work streams such as; FI-CO, Order-to-cash, Purchase-to-pay, Supply chain execution and Planning and Manufacturing
Ability to work as a team player, to follow the defined work process and to produce documentation deliverables as required for a validated system.
Broad knowledge and expertise in all phases of SAP rollouts.
Demonstrated skills in creative thinking, teamwork, problem solving, decision-making, time management, and verbal and written communications.
Good interpersonal skills to assist with communications with IT and Business staff and their management who are working under tight deadlines and considerable pressure.
Previous experience within multiple large scale software or product development projects, working with internal and external partners.
A minimum of 5 years of overall IT experience with at least 3 years SAP project implementation experience.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related professional discipline is required.
