SAP Engineer

Technical Support of SAP systems and related environments.  Monitor and upgrade Databases, support and upgrade SAP software, provide direct support to development teams and QA teams, Production on-call duties, provide DB / SAP engineering, project  participation and project leadership, create standards and best practices following ITIL guidelines, capacity planning, and integration with
R10 technical support teams.   Responsible for establishing and executing business recoveries and procedures.  Create, coordinate and organize technical documentation for business recovery and procedures.  Develop test plans and participate in BCP dry run recoveries.  Participate in continuous BCP process improvements and continuous BCP documentation updates.  Leverage the position to assist technical infrastructure teams with support tasks as management directs.
PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS:
 
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems preferred or related fields
- 5-7 years of Database Administration Information technology services experience required. 
- Experience with several of the following: Oracle, SAP Basis, Unix (AIX) and Windows 2000/3.
- Experience with SAP Infrastructure
