SALES ENGINEER

THE POSITION:


The Sales Engineer to work independently and as a member of the sales and marketing team to achieve the goals outlined by company management.

THE MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES:

Build and maintain customer relationships.
Prepare a technical response (drawings, graphics, narratives, etc) to RFPs
Assess customer requirements and translate into working solutions built around company’s products
Aid in the preparation of equipment for product demonstrations and technical presentations (assist / perform demonstration as needed)
Provide trade show support including event logistics planning, equipment and booth preparation, and other related tasks
Must engage in multitasking activities and achieve bottom line results and objectives
Must be capable of translating market/customer knowledge into actionable sales plans
Work with marketing team to help create application notes & brochures
REQUIREMENTS


GENERAL ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Four year degree from an accredited college or university (BSEE or equivalent preferred). Candidates with other appropriate industry related work experience may be considered.

EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILLS:


The ideal candidate will have three to five years sales engineering or technical support experience. Computer skills to include proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Windows XP. Must be self-disciplined and able to work both independently and as a team player. Strong work ethic is a must. Should display a high level of energy and spirit. This position requires interaction with other team members, customers, and company management.
