Resident Engineer in Utah

Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to take a lead role in our field operations for UDOT and UTA projects in our Utah office. Specific responsibilities include:

Supervision and direction of field inspections

Coordinate and negotiate work and change orders with General Contractors

Review and approve pay estimates

Communicate and coordinate with owners.

Other responsibilities will include coordinating and developing addition projects, assisting in office growth and assisting and managing field teams.

Qualifications

BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field. (Engineering preferred)

Minimum of 5 years experience in a management role as described above railway and transportation experience preferred.

Previous experience with UDOT or other DOT entities

Self motivated

Ability to lead others
