Kelly Scientific Resources is seeking a Research Engineer for a grease/lubricant company located in Wichita, Kansas. This is a 1st shift, temp-to-hire position.

We are looking for candidates who are interested in learning the business and making a career for themselves.

Job Duties:

The main emphasis of the job will be tribology, or the study of lubrication.

Research will be conducted in the areas of lubricant formulation and the applications to which lubricants are employed.

This position will start off in a lubrication production and research lab and may eventually include field work.

The field work could encompass such things as visiting customer sites to evaluate equipment, recommend lubricants, setup field tests, establish lubrication programs, and offer ways to improve equipment maintenance programs.

Requirements:

BS degree in Chemical Engineering or similar

Knowledge of basic organic chemistry would be a benefit

Good computer and writing skills are a definite plus
