Repair Inventory Process Leader

Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: OperationsResponsibilities: The Global Repair Operations is a closed-loop supply chain within the Global Parts and Repair Organization that delivers service spare parts to our internal service staff and external healthcare customers. We manage 10,000 SKU's ($300MM of Plant and Equipment Inventory) across 100 suppliers and 80 warehouses ensuring strict quality standards, financial compliance, and a world class level of service to our customers.The Repair Inventory Process Lead will report directly to the Global Repair Leader. The individual will work globally and cross-functionally within the Global Parts and Repair Organization and be responsible for the overall repair planning and deployment strategies, metrics development, and improvements in inventory metrics.The candidate will be directly responsible for the following:
Developing an extensive global repair parts planning strategy and segmentation model
Creating a comprehensive repair part deployment model to our different warehouses
Leading the integration of repair part planning and deployment in current IT Part Planning System (Xelus)
Analyzing inventory levels and creating metrics around proper pool sizing, deployment, and inventory turns to optimize pool levels
Developing sell back, buy back, and scrap opportunities to optimize inventory and pool levels
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: *Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 3 years experience in a Supply Chain or Operations role or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of Operations or Supply Chain experience
Experience in manipulating large amounts of data and deriving solutions from complex data
Minimum 2 years experience in leading, managing, and executing projects
Authorized to work in the USADesired: *Prior Supply Chain experience with background in planning or inventory management
Previous experience with ERP and MRP systems, i.e. SAP/Oracle, Manugistics, Xelus
Knowledge of MS Office products in particular experience in MS Access and MS Project
