SUMMARY
The Reliability Engineer will lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of reliability based programs, activities and processes for the Centralia power plants.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible to improve reliability and the effective use of resources by:
· Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Reliability Centered Maintenance process
· Provide engineering technical support to PdM programs including vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, electric motor monitoring, and other technologies.
· Identify trends and deficiencies in the maintenance and operations strategies.
· Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) of equipment/process failures with sound solutions to equipment deficiencies.
· Measure, analyze and report on plant production equipment reliability and availability performance.
· Provide engineering assistance in developing work scopes for overhauls, large shutdowns, and/or turnaround maintenance tasks.
· Program development, hardware/software purchase/maintenance, and implementation of programs in the plant

REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
· B.Sc. in electrical or mechanical engineering
· Demonstrated technical ability in the area of engineering analysis
· Ability to complete detailed process data analysis
· Strong technical reporting abilities
· Experience working in a power generation facility or large integrated process plant
· Must have strong computer skills and demonstrated ability to learn a multitude of vendor and equipment based software
· Experience with PM development, RCFA, FMEA, and Risk Analysis programs would be beneficial.
· Demonstrated troubleshooting ability and problem solving skills.
