The U.S. Operations of Gardner Denver Nash has a new opening for Sales Manager in the Houston, TX facility.
Position Summary:
Directs the business strategy and objectives to create and increase sales and marketing business at established profit and quality levels. Establishes sales, marketing and business plans to achieve objectives in assigned regions. Responsible for sales of highly technical multi million dollar vacuum and comp systems encompassing numerous vacuum technologies. Systems include heat transfer equipment, rotating equipment, control systems, coded vessels, etc… In depth knowledge of 1) specific processes in numerous industries such as P&P, power, chemical, oil and gas, and 2) various Gardner Denver Nash technologies applied in these processes.

Essential Functions:
·Provide financial plan and forecasts; contribute in the development of both products and pricing for Gardner Denver Nash products and services.
·Assist sales representative and field sales force in obtaining thorough product knowledge.
·Hiring and developing sales engineers, representatives and distributors.
·This position has a direct impact on the sales and profit of the organization. It is responsible for overseeing market research and promotion activities and training of personnel and managing the functions for the provision of required project and sales application engineering and interfacing with distribution, engineering, customers and manufacturing to ensure the most efficient business flow and customer satisfaction.
·This position is responsible for all management policies and procedures to comply with National, Province, Federal, State and Local laws and practices and ensures compliance with U.S. and foreign commercial export/import regulations.
·Establishes and manages functions for the provision of required project and sales engineering and interfaces with distribution, engineering.
REQUIREMENTS
Measurements:
·Directly supervise 5 employees
·Indirectly manages 7 employees

Experience Required:
·At least 4 years experience in sales management including managing representatives/distributors and direct sales force is desired.
·10 years experience in engineered rotating equipment and related systems or field including sales, marketing, sales engineering, product application, design and exposure to manufacturing and parts management.

Education:
·BS Engineering, Mechanical or Chemical
