R&D Engineering Technician

We are a fast-growing, innovative company, looking for creative professionals to join our team.As a hands-on R&D Engineering Technician you will: Assist in the development of new products by providing braiding and prototyping support to the Research Engineering Group.Set-up and troubleshoot braiding machines.
Prototype, test and document new medical devices.
Follow design control procedures. REQUIREMENTS
Preferred candidates will have: High school diploma. Assoicates degree in related field preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency with setting up, running and trouble shooting Steeger and other braiding machines.
Two plus years of hands-on braiding experience and two years technician experience (building prototypes, mechanical testing, etc.).
Strong record keeping and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated creativity and "hands on" prototyping skills - ability to prototype devices that have been conceptualized.
Working knowledge of ISO, GMP and QSR; FDA experience a plus.
Basic proficiencies with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
Ability to interact with a range of personalities.
Ability to take initiative and work independently.
