This position is with a Fortune 500 organization that has manufacturing facilities all over the US and international. This person will be the main contact for all quality issues and concerns from other departments, suppliers and customers. Act as the Lead Champion for the Six Sigma process. Responsible for meeting plant goals for cost reduction and productivity improvement utilizing Six Sigma methodology. Will oversee the department budget. Will manage all systems related to quality to ensure that they meet the customers’ needs. Responsible for extensively communicating with customers on quality issues. Lead all Quality Engineering activities. Will direct quality control programs. Will lead continuous improvement projects. Review incoming materials for possible defects, in process defect fault and failure analysis as well as end product approval for your customers. Formalize quality, cost improvements and reporting systems.This person should possess a BS in an Engineering related field. At least five years of Quality experience. Must have some management or supervisor experience in Quality. Experience in Lean Manufacturing would be ideal. Six Sigma training or certification is needed. Experience in leading a group in a team environment. CQM or CQE is always nice.

REQUIREMENTSRequirements:
1. Bachelors degree (Engineering related preferred).
2 Quality Control Management or Supervisory experience3 Six Sigma training or certification is needed.4 QS 9000+, PPAP, APQP, Gage R&R, SPC and FEMA.Advantages:
1. Any certifications such as CQM, CQA, CQE, Six Sigma.
2. Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement.
