Automotive Quality Assurance Manager – Lean SigmaRELOCATION, AT COMPANY'S EXPENSE, IS REQUIREDSalary $65,000 – $75,000 and generous relocation and benefit packagesThe Quality Assurance Manager will provide technical support as it pertains to the quality of manufactured and purchased parts. This Manager will also provide support to all customers both internally and externally of the company. This individually will look to enhance the quality systems through continual improvement utilizing lean sigma principles. Will Supervise and direct Quality Associates to achieve quality products, communicate with outside customer base on dimensional deviations. The Quality Assurance Manager will work with senior business and production management to assure that appropriate and practical quality assurance programs are in place to assure the superior customer satisfaction while optimizing costs and profitability and will oversee the Quality Assurance activities in the plant. Other duties include developing and implementing Quality Assurance programs and procedures for the plant. As well as, working with multi-functional teams within the manufacturing facility and among the management team to develop and implement quality initiatives and make recommendations for improvements. REQUIREMENTSRequired Skills, Education, and Experience1. B.S. Degree majoring in Engineering2. 5 years or more experience in a manufacturing environment
3. ISO14001 and TS16949 experience a plus
4. Six Sigma certification helpful
5. Strong PC Skills & Mainframe skills
6. Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills
