Quality Manager - Automotive Components 09/08/06

Automotive Quality Manager RELOCATION, AT COMPANY EXPENSE, IS REQUIRED Salary $70,000 – $80,000 + bonus. Excellent benefits & growth opportunity. Company is growing at an exceptional rate. One of the nation’s fastest growing automotive Tier I supplier has an opening for a Quality Manager with automotive Tier I experience. This individual will manage a department of 5-7 people who will be responsible for in-house quality programs, as well as, working with customers on any quality issues. The successful candidate will have good communication skills, be knowledgeable about ISO/QS-9000 and TS-16949, APQP, SPC, gage calibration and process capabilities. This person should be knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma. Positions located in the Northwest and Southeast US. Good quality of life, good schools and universities in some of the most beautiful areas of the country. REQUIREMENTS
Requirements: 1. Bachelors degree Mandatory. (Prefer Engineering related) 2. Must have at least 8 years of experience, with 3 of that in a supervisory / management role 3. Must have QS 9000 and TS-16949 experience. Must have Automotive Tier I or Tier II experience 4. Training and experience in Lean and/ or Six Sigma highly desired 5.
