fast- pace environment in which QA
engineers are encouraged to leverage a
variety of skills based on various project
needs. You will help maintain the
performance testing scripts and automated
test scripts for high-profile, multi-tier J2EE
applications using Mercury Quick Test Pro
(QTP). You will also help with the
maintenance and development of database
testing scripts for SQL and Oracle database
changes. Other responsibilities include:Test the data integrity of back-end
system conversions
Troubleshoot complex testing issues
between multiple web applications by
researching symptoms, analyzing impacts
and implementing solutions
Document processes and rules in an
organized and systematic, hands-on manner
Exposure to concepts involved in
Configuration Management & Source Control
Develop automated test scripts, test
harnesses, cases, plans, etc. for larger scale
projects
Develop processes that create a
restorable, re-usable, and non-record and
playback testing environment
Define and track test activities related
to system coverage and testing risks
Assist a team to define and automate
QA lab frameworks
Execute system, regression, integration
and destructive testing as required to
support new development and bug fixes
Work with application teams to
understand the application architecture,
functional and data requirements and
integration with other systemsQualifications

3 plus years experience in testing design
and/or quality assurance testing roles

Experience with SQL with Oracle and Sybase
databases

Ability to collect, define and review
automation requirements and approaches

Experience in developing and maintaining
non-record/playback based QA automation
for complex web applications

Experience with automating and
maintaining large quantity of automated test
scripts

Experience creating testing suites that are
compartmentalized for maximum amount of
re-usability

Experience in SCM trunking, branching,
version control thru packaging and
deployment

Basic Unix OS and scripting skills

Experience in performance testing
(LoadRunner)

Strong verbal and written communication
skillsPreferred skills:

Experience of risk area analysis and
breakage points

Certified test manager

Financial industry experience a plus

3+ years doing data integrity testing and
configuration management functions
