Quality Engineer III

Purpose: Candidate will support and implement quality systems requirements in design, supply chain management, manufacturing, assembly and test, and customer support. Candidate will perform quality tasks such as quality system audits, product evaluations, process monitoring, supplied part problem resolution, data analysis and lead/participate in various process improvement initiatives; Perform non-conforming hardware disposition and coordinate/ensure root cause analysis and effective corrective action is implemented; Be proactive in eliminating waste from existing operations and quality systems transactional processes.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, science or business or equivalent amount of experience; Minimum of 5 years applicable experience; ASQ Certified Quality Engineer; Results oriented, proactive, flexible, resourceful, data driven professional with a positive "can-do" attitude; Strong organizational skills; Competency and knowledge of theory and practice of modern quality control principles concepts, and methods as applied to a high technology electronics design and manufacturing operation; Capable of understanding and interpreting engineering drawings and documentation, customer quality requirements and company quality requirements.
