Quality Control Inspectors: Greenwood, IN

Ferco Tech is a leading manufacturer of aircraft engine brackets, tubes and fixtures.

The Ferco Tech Corporation is headquarted in Franklin, Ohio with manufacturing facilities located in Franklin, Ohio, Greenwood, Indiana, and Jamestown, Kentucky. The Indiana facility has historically been known as L&E Engineering. The Ferco Tech Corporation acquired L&E Engineering in 1993. GGF Heritage in Kentucky was built in 2001 for expansion into new markets such as Titanium Sheet Metal fabricating.

We are currently looking for Quality Control Inspectors. Candidates must have previous experience with Quality Inspection and using micrometers, calipers, height gauge, gauge blocks, indicators, and protractors. Previous Aerospace experience is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to do in-process and final
inspection of both parts and processes.
CMM Experience is a plus
Need to monitor the quality system through audits.
Physical inspection of in-process and completed hardware.
Knowledge of tooling and gauges.
Familiar with AS9102 requirements.
Understanding of the specifications and procedures.
Ability to read prints and interpret quality specs.
Up to date knowledge of different manufacturing processes.
Good communication skills
Customer interface skills.
First article preparation.
