Quality Assurance Specialist

To add to our team of talented people, we are currently seeking a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in our DISH NETWORK SERVICE department in Waxahachie, TX.



The responsibilities of this role include:



All Quality Assurance training and execution in the specific region. Included but not limited to the recruiting and training of all external/sub contractors. Responsible for training national/regional service companies and retail personnel on the intricacies of proper installation to manufacturer guidelines.
Specifically, duties include (but are not limited to):


Spends 30% of their work time training new and existing installers on new and effective installation techniques and tools. (limited content development)

Assist with the development, implemention and maintanance of quality assurance guidelines and setting of relating policies and procedures in an effort to ensure 100% customer/client satisfaction.

Spot-check installations via telephone and physical visitations to accertain the quality of installion work being performed by the FSSs in the region. Uses check lists and reporting formats to advise management of findings.

Responsible for appropriately fixing damages caused by FSSs through investigations, accountatbility determination, coordination of contractors, and performing manual repairs to ensure customer satisfaction. (30% of work time)

Responsible for keeping regional installers up to date on latest manufacturers products and applications to achieve high quality installations.

Responsible for monitoring and reporting to the Installation Manager and Regional Manager any safety violations and/or performance issues regarding internal and external installations.

Responsible for providing weekly/monthly assurance reports to regional and senior management.

Ensures County, State and Federal safety compliance for the region.

job Requirements


b>Minimum qualifications to be considered are:


High school diploma or GED; and two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Valid drivers license with good driving record

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

May occasionally be required to lift up to 125 pounds for short distances and/or move bulky objects

Must be comfortable working in small spaces and/or various heights

Will be required to climb ladders in a safe manner




In addition, we will give preference to candidates with the following:


Working knowledge of cable and satelite installation, house contruction, plumbing, and electrical, etc.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
