Quality Assurance Inspector (SSBI)

Purpose: SPECIFIC BACKGROUND/SKILL SET REQUIRED? Bachelor's degree or
equivalent in Engineering, Science, or related field plus two years
experience. No experience required with a Master's degree. Full use
and application of standard assurance engineering principles,
theories, concepts, and techniques.

JOB, TASK OR DEFINED SCOPE OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED? Provide
support to Final Satellite/Payload/Antenna Integration and Test for
DOD, government and commercial programs, to include mechanical and
electrical integration, system testing, near field range testing, Mech
and elect alignments, mass properties, EGSE validation, deployment
testing and configuration verification for all activities. Will be required
to verify conformance to program specifications and drawings and to
verify adherence to documentation requirements. Verify discrepancy
documentation to program requirements via the Quality Database. Will
be able to work with limited Quality Assurance Management
supervision. Participate and support troubleshooting and failure
analysis and FRB's. Coordinate problem resolution with engineering
and project office. May be required to perform other duties as
assigned to include support to EGSE, MGSE & Operational Ground
Support Equipment.

Must be able to work 1rst, 2nd, or 3rd shift and/or overtime without
much advance notice. Must be able to maintain SSBI clearance.

EXPERIENCE FOR EACH SKILL? Ability to achieve results and make
appropriate decisions or recommendations; failure to do so may
cause delays in program schedules and result in the allocation of
additional resources.

Require 2-3 years of applicable experience

CERTIFICATIONS/MACHINES OR TOOLS REQUIRED OPERATE/OR
OTHER EXPERIENCE AS RELATED TO THE POSITION AND YEARS OF
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED? When hired, will be trained on Process
Requirements, FIPPS, MRB, ESD and other certifications as needed.Classification:ContractCompensation:
