Project Technician

Purpose: Our client is located in Wayne, PA and looking for a Project Technician. This person will be responsible for providing technical support and leading the technical support functions for projects with few complexities. With minimal direction from PM or Engineer, this person should be able to pull together details and plan sheets, and edit per project requirements. Also, to determine what details are required to fully and accurately convey design as required for each project phase (SD, DD and CD). Assemble a set of documents without specific direction from the Project Manager.

Other duties include:
*Assists in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of technical support work (working drawings) on a project.
*Assists in the development of project technical support budgets, completion dates, and assesses it periodically.
*Accountable for adherence to Project Technician budget for each phase. Keeps the Project Manager or lead technician informed of potential overruns.
*Maintains sketch log.
*Coordinates drawing files with internal and external clients.
*Monitors the industry for potential improvement of in-house systems and/or processes.
*Increase working knowledge of parking and building codes.Classification:Contract-to-HireCompensation:
