JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Project Sales Engineer will focus his/her efforts on the major players of the engineering community, primarily A&E and E&C firms.
The ultimate goal is to win design-in status for the products in a variety of applications centered in the ‘process industry’.
Some examples would be municipal waste water treatment facilities, petro-chemical facilities, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, civil transportation and alternative energy production.
The variety of projects are numerous and varied but tend to focus on process-related applications.
The PSE will work closely with the field sales engineers and will manage the detailed aspects of the long-term sales cycle typically associated with design wins.
The customer base is primarily in the greater Dallas / Ft. Worth area.
The position also is responsible for projects in the states of OK, AS and Northern LA. These territories however require less attention due to the concentration of the potential and existing client base in the DFW area.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The expected compensation in the first year will be from the mid $80K to mid $90K range with upside potential for the consistent performer. The company provides an excellent work environment, exceptional benefits and a generous car and expense allowance.
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires a high degree of technical expertise and, as such, a 4 year technical degree is highly desired.
Additionally direct sales experience and design-win experience is also highly desired.
The individual must be able to work out of a home office and be self motivated and possess good time management skills.
Experience with any process-related products or components is good. Some examples include PLC’s, flow or power instrumentation, analyzers, sensors, actuators valves, controllers etc.
