JOB SUMMARY:Provides leadership for development and implementation of the corporate Quality and Process Improvement program. Applies Business Process Improvement/Six Sigma/Lean methodologies; towards maximizing business performance, increasing customer satisfaction and returning savings to the bottom line.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead cross functional teams in identifying, planning and implementing projects. Lead process design projects ensuring timely completion with successful results.Provide management with project updates, feedback, and reporting.Work with finance and other members of the organization in assessing, tracking and reporting the financial benefit of quality and process improvement initiative.Act as a liaison within and between departments on operational excellence and best practices.Competent in use of Six Sigma/Lean tools, business process improvement tools and techniques in team-based problem solvingTeach, mentor and support Green Belt candidates from functional departments. Be a resource to them as well.Develop and implement metrics and controls to ensure continuous improvement for the company.Develop new processes to expend the business and generate revenues long term.Duties described above DO NOT constitute entirety of responsibilities. REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:A minimum of four year degree in Business of Engineering desired, with MBA preferred. To be successful in this position, you must have 2-5 years direct experience as a Black Belt, with demonstrated success in leading multiple projects. A Six Sigma Black Belt is required.The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills, team spirit and the drive to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment.
