Project Manager 3 (Structural Eng) - Baton Rouge

Position Summary: Senior Project Management position that will be responsible for a variety of large-scale public works projects. Project types will include all varieties of public buildings, facilities, and structures, such as government buildings, libraries, fire and police stations, bridges, waste water treatment units, etc. Will be expected to be able to provide senior technical leadership for the client and for the project team. Duties will also include project management, scope, schedule, budget, proposals, cost estimates, as well as business development and funding source research and securing. Ensure conformance to applicable engineering codes and standards.



Requirements:

BS or MS in Civil Engineering with 115-20 years of experience working on the structural engineering aspects of public facilities. Demonstrated project management expertise required. PE in Louisiana required, or ability to obtain reciprocity within 6 months of start. Exceptional organizational skills, plus verbal and written communication skills are required.



Job Conditions/Environment:

Work typically performed in an office setting with constant deadline pressure. Travel to client or project sites may also be required. Occasional overtime is required to meet client or proposal demands.
