Department Description: The Project Management and Planning Organization is responsible for managing product deployments and managing service implementation for a fee to our customers providing broadband services. Part of the department scope is to provide a high quality experience to our customer through standardized and measured processes. Projects range from 1 week to several months depending on the project type.

Responsibilities/Expectations: Responsible for:
Coordinating resources to develop a scope of solution
Determining the skills required to execute the solution
Determining the resources needed and time required for the given solution
Defining, coordinating, developing, and approving all necessary documentation for a solution
Standardizing any new scope of solution so that others can use it in the future
Coordinating a team of both technical and non-technical members
Developing and Maintaining High level Plans & Schedules in Conjunction with the Support Teams and Program Management.
Defining and reporting on performance metrics for the solutions being implemented
Working with the Program Management to forecast support and evaluate forecast-against capacity
Responsible for managing resources assigned to the solution implementation.^^

Knowledge Skills: 3-5 Years experience in IP Networking, Cable Television or Broadband preferred
2-3 Years experience in Project Management preferred
Past Experience with Customer Relationships, Crisis Management, and Problem Solving
Digital Six Sigma Green or Black belt a Plus
Project Management Certification a Plus
Knowledge of Project Related software like Microsoft Project
Knowledge of Visio, Microsoft Office
Good Communications skills
Project Management training or equivalent training required
