LEVEL REQUIRED: SecretPRIMARY FUNCTION(S)RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Assist program management staffing in effective planning, organizing, controlling, managing / leading the development life cycle processes of a DoD tactical communications system. Apply the DoD systems acquisition processes of DoD 5000.x. Activities will encompass design, fabrication, test, manufacture, operations and support. Apply the policies and principles that govern the operation of the defense acquisition systems; 1) consider flexibility & tailoring program strategies and oversight, 2) apply responsiveness by rapid integration of advanced technologies through evolutionary acquisition, 3) adopt innovation of practices that reduce cost and cycle time, 4) administer discipline by using program baseline parameters as control objectives and 5) effectively decentralize to every extent practicable.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BS in Engineering / Technical Degree, 10 plus years DoD systems engineering experience. Knowledge of DoD 5000.x Acquisition management and processes.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
