Project Geologist

ERM is seeking an energetic, self-starting Project Geologist to join our consulting firm in Houston, Texas.


Responsibilities include:Organizing, preparing for, and conducting and/or oversight of field work;
Recording data, compiling reports and assisting in preparing proposals;
Focusing on multiple team project delivery, while taking direction primarily from the Sr. Project Manager;
Mentoring junior staff;
Independently works with moderately complex issues and receives technical guidance on more complex problems;
Recommending appropriate actions to ensure compliance with all Federal, state and lcoal regulation;
Designing and managing small projects and project teams with limited supervision;
Working with and preparing budget/schedule expectations and scope of assignments;
Maintaining cleient relationships;
Requirements include:BS in Geology/Hydrogeology/Soil Science/Environmental Science or related degree required, MS preferred;
4+ years of experience;
Proficient in regulatory knowledge; and.
